All of the Taylor & Baines traditional and contemporary armchairs are hand assembled from selected hardwoods, hand-jointed, dowelled, blocked and glued to provide a strong durable frame for a long useful life.

We use traditional high quality structural upholstery materials and finish off with a variety of cushion fillings, from natural hand filled down and feather to man-made hollow fibre interiors.

Positioning and final cutting of the fabric, particularly its design and repeat is a detail our craftsmen take great care to consider. This attention to detail ensure the fabric best suits the size , detail and design of the chosen piece of furniture.

Polished woodwork is available in a variety of finishes along with different castor designs to match colour, decor and style.

All items are available to view and evaluate at our Northgate Showroom, which adjoins our workshops. Here you can view customer orders or new models in production. Stocked items are available for immediate delivery with bespoke orders delivered in 8 weeks assuming fabric availability. Please contact us for more details.
